Welcome To Primary 6H

Our World Around Us topic for this term is 'The Natural World.' At the minute we are learning all about minibeasts. We went on a minibeast hunt and had a fine old time digging about in the mud!

Here are some spiders we found around school. Did you know that spiders belong to the arachnid family and most have eight eyes! They have 48 knees and have an exoskeleton.

This is a caterpillar, it is not an insect as it has not got six legs. A caterpillar is the larvae of a butterfly. They are vegetarian  and have really strong jaws for chewing!

Each Friday we have 'Show and Tell', Jane made this weaponry with her Grandpa.

In P6H. we use the Interactive Whiteboard to help us learn. Justin has just scored full marks in a quiz on odd and even numbers. Look at that smile!

Mrs. Humphrey makes us all take turns to teach the class. James is explaining how to use rounding to make our adding easier.

Look what Josh brought for 'Show and Tell'! We all thought Logan was beautiful and very well-behaved too. Josh is very proud of his new wee brother.
