Welcome To Primary 6L

We had fun exploring how many litres various containers held. We found that even though these containers are different shapes, they each hold one litre.

In Science, we have been exploring the hedgerow, looking at hedgerow fruits and searching for minbeasts.

Here some of the class are using a magnifying glass to investigate the minibeasts they found.

Each Friday, two coaches from Ballymena United Football Club come to teach football skills and team work. Here children have been having a fun time putting into practice what they have been taught.

Using geo-boards and elastic bands, the children are  investigating how many different quadrilaterals they can make.

We recorded our results.

We all had a fun day dressing up as cowboys and cow girls for our Harvest Hoedown.

P6L did and assembly for the whole school on Remembrance Day. Each child took part either in telling us about family memebrs who served our country during World War 2, or telling us about the poppy. Here the girls are with a local hero Mr. Ron Renton, who served in the Second World War. He talked to the children about his experiences.
