Welcome To Primary 6L

Someone from the Zoo came in to talk to primary  classes about minibeasts. Harry and Zach are holding a stick insect called Rose.

Lauren is looking at a large snail called Shelly.

Here David is rather apprehensive about touching the snake called Samantha.

P6L have been learning about Samba music. Here some of the children are beating a steady beat.

P6L children concentrating and getting the right beat.

P6L class took assembly on Remembrance Day.  Many of the children had relatives who had served in either the 1st or 2nd World War. They found out information about them and shared it with us in Assembly. The children really enjoyed researching and taking part.

Each year we invite Mr Ron Renton to come to our Remembrance Day service. He served in the 2nd World War. He then comes into our class and tells us about some of his experiences during the war years. The children were fascinated to learn about his life. They also were able to ask Mr. Renton questions. They found it a most enjoyable morning and we look forward to seeing him next year in Assembly.
