The Board of Governor's was appointed in January 2006 and will serve until after the next local government elections. The Education Reform Order (1989) has made each school, through its Governors, responsible for:

  • Implementing a curriculum that incorporates the Northern Ireland Curriculum with its associated Programmes Of Study and Attainment Targets.
  • The management of its budget within the context of the NEELB scheme for financial delegation.
  • The appointment, promotion and management of the teaching and non-teaching staff.
