29 Jan 2008 - Buick V Gracehill
Match Report
Buick Memorial v Gracehill
On the 29th of January Buick Memorial P.S. had a football match against Gracehill P.S. in the Senior Cup. At the start of the match our line of defence wasn’t great but once Gracehill broke through and got a goal, defence got better because we thought we might get beaten so we pulled our socks up. We got back on level terms five minutes later when Josh Mcllroy put one in the net it was a great goal it completely fooled the keeper. Gracehill were still playing good and both teams were under a little bit of pressure and were playing well. A few minutes later Marcus Rea scored another goal for Buick to make the score 2-1 to Buick. At half time, we had each a drink of water we had a team talk. Buick kicked off the second half and were passing the ball a lot a getting so many scoring chances, the pitch was very muddy and there was a lot of sliding going on everybody is having a great match but then comes another goal for Buick this one was by Adam McCullough who is a sub David Mcluggage put a good ball to his feet and there it is he scores. Both teams are still playing great but we have got the lead once and for all, we had even more scoring chances than the first half. We have five more minutes to go the ball has went out of play a lot of times both teams has had an horrendous amount of throw in’s. Gracehill make a break but they only got to outside the box then we stole again. The match is over the score ended up 3-1 to Buick and after the match Gracehill gave us a packet of crisps and a drink each which was very nice of them then our bus arrived and we were very grateful about our win on the way back to school.
